Updated – 24 February 2021
Due to the latest lockdown we are currently closed, however it is looking likely that we will re-open on 12 April.
If you do book for a later date and we find ourselves in another lockdown we will offer alternative dates or a full refund.
We are ensuring that One Fisherman’s Loft is cleaned and sanitised to the Covid Ready Guidelines from the Professional Association of Self-Caterers and Visit England. We have gained the Visit England “We’re Good To Go” and “AA COVID-19 Confident” accreditations.
We would like to stress that we will be taking all necessary precautions to reduce the risk to anyone staying with us. Although we have always prided ourselves on the cleanliness of One Fisherman’s Loft we will be enhancing this more with hand sanitisers installed at both entrances to the building and the use of enhanced (COVID-19 killing) cleaning materials.
Sadly the existence of the virus and the required social distancing will mean some of the things we pride ourselves on will no longer be possible, such as helping with luggage when we meet our guests.
As an extra precaution aimed at reducing the risk of spreading COVID-19 we have decided to move to minimum bookings of 7 nights until further notice. This will reduce the amount of changeovers and therefore the number of people that we welcome to One Fisherman’s Loft, which in turn will reduce the chance of transmission of the virus. Obviously we will honour any shorter stays that have already been booked.
We understand that many of our guests like to come to Brixham for a 3 or 4 night stay and we are very sorry that this change to our minimum bookings is likely to impact you this year, but we hope you understand the reasoning behind our decision.
