Markets

On Saturdays from Easter to October, the Brixham Art and Craft Market bustles with local crafts. Pick up a momento to take back home.  From March to October there is a Sunday market in Fore Street on the second and fourth Sundays of the month from 10am – 4pm, The market has fresh local foods including breads and buns, cheeses, meats, pasties, gluten-free baked items, honeys, juices and preserves and hand crafted items such as jewellery, cushions, paintings/prints and garden ornaments. There are also speciality hot foods of local and international origin. The number and mix of traders varies from month to month.

Shopping in Torquay

Torquay offers a choice of designer boutiques and high street favourites, there are plenty of places to look for something special to wear.  Hoopers department store on The Strand stocks an eclectic choice of your favourite brands and welcomes customers with its smart, personalised service. On the outskirts of the town you’ll also find large retail stores stocking everything from homewear to electronics.

Paignton offers a good choice of high-street shops selling everything from fashion to footwear. If you need to stock up on supplies for the beach this is the place.
