The Wine Loft (Wine and Tapas Bar)

The Wine Loft is a small owner run independent wine shop and deli.  Choose from a small Tapas menu, drink by the glass or pay corkage on any bottle of wine in the shop.

2 minutes walk from One Fisherman’s Loft and comes highly recommended!!!

The Manor (Pub)

One of our favourite pubs (we always walk our guests past The Manor on the way to the apartment from the car park after parking their car).  Wide range of beer and cider, and lots of gin!  Always reminds us of sitting in a (large) living room.

Lovely pub that has been refurbished to a high standard.

A cocktail bar, and it is less than a two minute walk from One Fisherman’s Loft.  Also offers a selection of hot drinks, plus cakes and lunches.

Shoals Cafe on the Lido (Restaurant)

Shoals ‘Cafe on the Lido’ offers fresh fish, sourced locally, meat and vegetarian dishes are also available.  

The restaurant is set in a superb location on the upper floor of the wonderful Shoalstone Sea Water Pool offering stunning sea views – from the alfresco terrace you can catch an amazing sunset and watch the trawlers and day fishing boats en route to Brixham from all around the South West waters.

The food is very good, the seafood in particular is top class!

Rockfish (Restaurant)

One of the most popular fish restaurants in Brixham, Rockfish sits in the world famous fish market overlooking the boats as they land their catch, so offers a great view of both sides of the harbour.  The terrace is also a great place to sit and relax with a drink.

With its log-burning fire and locally sourced menus, The Smugglers is a great place for a drink or a meal.  Their locally sourced steaks are grilled live in front of you.  Sunday roasts are also very good.

The Berry Head Hotel (Hotel and Restaurant)

The Berry Head Hotel is set in a superb waterside position enjoying spectacular views of the English Riviera.

Enjoy beautiful views from the A la Carte and Terrace Bar Restaurants.  There is also a heated indoor swimming and pool spa pool as well as ample parking available.

The Old Market House (Pub and Restaurant)

Overlooks Brixham harbour and operates on two floors. Choose between the downstairs bar menu with counter service or go upstairs for table service. The Old Market House also offers an extensive outdoor seating area providing lovely views across Brixham harbour.

Less than a minute walk from the apartment (just look out of any of the windows, you can’t miss it).

Brilliant Thai food.  Located on Middle Street close to the Wine Loft.

Indian Thai (Restaurant and Take Away)

Just stunning Indian and Thai food.  Small sit down restaurant but also a takeaway (they can deliver).  They do not have an alcohol licence so if you eat in you can take your own wine/beer etc.
