Getting Here

Located on South Devon’s beautiful coastline, the English Riviera is within easy access of major motorways, coach and rail links and reaching Brixham couldn’t be more straightforward.

By Car

From the North or East

Take the M5 down to Exeter, and then join the A380. From Newton Abbot, follow signs to Brixham.

From the West

From the west it is likely you will approach Brixham via the A30 or A38.  Follow the signs to the English Riviera and then Brixham.

By Train

First Great Western provides regular train services to Paignton, linking to some of the UK’s major train stations. From Paignton, you will then need to transfer to the Stagecoach number 12 bus, located directly opposite the train station, for the last part of your journey to Brixham.

By Coach

The National Express provides direct routes to Brixham from most of the major cities throughout the UK. For more information of routes and times, contact the National Express or contact the English Riviera Visitor Information Centre on 01803 211211.

By Air

Exeter airport is about 40 minutes from Brixham by car.

Getting Around

Getting around the English Riviera could not be simpler with Stagecoach South West offering an excellent service. Running every 12 minutes, the Hop 12 links Brixham to Paignton, Torquay and Newton Abbot. To ensure you get to experience all the English Riviera has to offer during your stay in Brixham, the DayRider ticket allows you to hop on, hop off throughout the day.

From Easter through to the end of September, regular ferry services run between Brixham and Torquay, Paignton and Dartmouth offering a beautiful, scenic way to travel across the bay taking in the great landscapes.
